Robin Ariss, Accounting Assistant, has a decade of accounting experience in various fields. She has worked locally and throughout the United States, including Hawaii, as well as internationally in Iceland. In addition to working at Pratt, she enjoys creating in as many mediums as she can get her hands on. She is presently consumed with sculpture and cannot wait to begin glassblowing and metal working.

Scott Ball, Sculpture Studio Manager, received a BFA in sculpture from the University of Washington and an MFA in studio art from the State University of New York at Albany. His sculptural work is primarily mixed-media and installation and has shown in Seattle, Albany and Brooklyn.

Brandi Clark, Director of Programs, received a BA in Literature from Texas A&M University in 1999 and has been working for non-profit arts organizations ever since.  As well as event planning, her experience includes fund-raising, marketing and advertising.  Her largest challenge since being at Pratt has been choosing between TIG and MIG or oxy-acetylene welding.

David Clark, Sculpture Studio Technician, has been working in metal since 1974, glass arts since 1983, and has been a sculpture studio renter at Pratt since 1995. David's sense of aesthetic is informed by his wide industrial experience and over 30 years of travel around the world. David is originally from London, where he completed a Toolmakers Apprenticeship at Imperial College, London.

Julie Custer, Development and Marketing Associate, received an MFA in Fiber from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA in Textile Design from the University of Kansas.  Her work was recently included in the catalog and exhibition HOT HOUSE: Expanding the Field of Fiber at Cranbrook 1970-2007, and has been shown at the Kirkland Arts Center, the Burnaby Art Gallery in Vancouver, BC and SOIL Gallery in Seattle.

Rosie Daniel, Community Events Coordinator, moved from California to Washington state in 2001 and fell in love with the local arts community. She has held positions at the Tacoma Art Museum and Traver Gallery and is delighted to be a part of the Pratt family. She spends her free time exploring the natural wonders of the evergreen state and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Rosie earned a BFA in printmaking from Pacific Lutheran University in 2005.

Scott Darlington, Glass Studio Manager, has been working with hot glass for 24 years.  After completing his BFA at the Appalachian Center for Crafts, he moved to Seattle and worked as an assistant for many different artists.  Scott also worked as the Hot Shop Coordinator at Pilchuck Glass School for 7 summers.  After nearly 10 years in Seattle, he spent 4 years in Japan as Associate Professor at the Toyama City Institute of Glass Art. In the spring of 2007, he received his MFA in glass from The Ohio State University.  Scott was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bowling Green State University from 2007-2011. He and his family returned to Seattle in 2011.

Ryan Davis, Database Administrator, has worked as a higher education administrator for nearly 10 years and holds a BS in Business Administration.  As a local musician, Ryan has performed at venues large and small all over the Puget Sound with a number of different groups.

Moll Frothingham, Evening Administrative Assistant, received her BA in Theater from Smith College, and has been involved with Pratt for three years. Since developing a passion for encaustic painting, she has participated in group and solo shows throughout Seattle.

Ariel Glassman, Director of Development & Communications, is an experienced nonprofit development and communications professional with a degree from Stanford University in political science and Asian languages. Ariel has raised money across many sectors, including international relations and advocacy, human and social services, global health, and performing arts. She is the Young Alumni Development Chair for Stanford’s Class of 2004, and has served on the board of directors for the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America and as a panelist on mentoring and leadership at the 2011 Arts Nonprofits Now conference at Seattle University. When not fundraising, she loves reading fiction and traveling.

Lise Graham, Front Desk Manager, moved to Seattle from Boston, MA in 2006 after receiving her BFA at Massachusetts College of Art and is a recent MFA graduate from the University of Washington. When not at Pratt, Lise paints in her Seattle SODO studio.

Todd Jannausch, Wood Studio Technician, spent 13 years working as a shipwright, building and repairing wooden boats throughout the Pacific Northwest. He is a photographer and installation artist whose work includes "Gallery 40" a mobile art gallery that held 17 shows for over 35 Seattle artists in 2010.

Myra Kaha, Youth and Education Associate, received an MFA in ceramics from West Virginia University and a BFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Myra moved to Seattle in 2006 and has been involved with the Seattle arts community in a variety of ways since.  She has 15 years management experience and is passionate about youth arts education.

Kamla Kakaria, Print and 2D Studio Manager, received an MFA in printmaking from the University of Washington and has exhibited at various galleries in and around Seattle. In addition to managing Pratt’s print studio, she teaches at Pratt and Kirkland Arts Center.

Chuck Lopez, Glass Studio Technician, started working with glass in 1989. With a background in computer science, mathematics, and philosophy, he received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado in 1995, and an MFA from Alfred University in 1999. Chuck has been involved with Pilchuck since 1994 as a student, summer staff, teaching assistant, Emerging Artist in Residence, Centerpiece Designer, and Instructor. Chuck's work is shown nationally and was selected for inclusion in New Glass Review, 2002 and 2007. Chuck makes art and teaches in Pratt's studios.

Katie Miller, Grant Writer and Sponsorship Coordinator, received her BFA from the University of Washington and her MFA from Tyler School of Art.  Her sculpture and installations incorporate a variety of materials including sound, video, beeswax, glass and found objects; she exhibits her work internationally.  Prior to working at Pratt, Katie worked in Exhibitions and Public Programming and continues to be actively involved in a variety of projects throughout the East and West Coasts.

Jennifer Ray, Director of Accounting, has over 10 years of accounting experience. Prior to taking on this role, she served as Pratt's Accounting Manager for three years and played a vital role in the improvement of Pratt's accounting systems. She has a passion for music and is hoping one day to perform for the masses.

Ann Suter, Interim Executive Director, brings over forty years of government, higher education and nonprofit management experience to Pratt, including stints as Executive Director at The Leadership Institute, Scan Community Media, and Puget Sound Radio Broadcasters Association and as Interim Director for Puget Sound Access. 

Danielle Stevens, Evening Administrative Assistant, earned her BFA in Glass Art from Massachusetts College of Art in 2007. She received the Friends of Glass Scholarship and graduated with departmental honors. In addition to glass, Danielle has a healthy fascination with metals, plaster, fibers, fasteners, silicone, and many other sculptural materials that lend themselves to interesting manipulation.

Paula Stokes, Exhibition and Scholarship Program Manager, has a Bachelor's Degree in Design from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, and has studied Printmaking at the University of Washington, where she received the Milnora Roberts Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Paula shows at the SAM Gallery in Seattle and at the Eblana Gallery in Dublin and her work is in the collection on the National Museum of Ireland.

Rebbecca Tomas, Jewelry/Metals Manager, received her BA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from the University of Iowa.

Angelique Traverso, Evening Administrative Assistant, earned a BA in Performance Productions from Cornish College of the Arts in 2004.  Since then she has worked throughout Seattle as a costume designer and freelancing as a seamstress making people look fabulous.
